Become a Mentor

Mentor a BGFS Student

Work with us to develop a specialized 6-week micro mentorship experience.

Mentor organization is responsible for: The development of a short term assignment for the mentee to develop a skill or technique that you have identified as valuable in your field or speciality.

Here’s how it works:

1. Your organization reaches out to us via the contact form and lets us know which role/department/project you’d like to find a match for from BGFS, and a range of dates you’re considering

2. BGFS evaluates the opportunity and if applicable, we generate a pool of candidates for the partner to consider

3. BGFS facilitates the development of a mutual list of 3 goals and objectives for the mentee/mentor organization’s time together

4. After both sides agree to the list of goals, we connect our student with a member of your organization for a short term 1:1 mentorship

5. We collect feedback to understand the impact of the mentorship after week 3, and again at the end of week 6.  Then, we share that data with your team to determine if we achieved our learning outcomes together
